After graduating from Istanbul German High School, Bahadır Yiğitoğlu began his education in Industrial Engineering at Sabancı University. After completing this four-year program, he decided to pursue his interests further by transferring to the Department of Psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University, where he completed his undergraduate studies.

During his undergraduate and master’s studies, he actively participated in various research projects. Following his undergraduate education, he worked as an intern psychologist at the Güzel Günler Clinic, founded by Yankı Yazgan. He completed his hospital internships at French Lape Hospital and Private Moodist Hospital.

He continued his education with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University. He completed his clinical internship at the Istanbul Bilgi University Psychological Counseling Center under psychodynamic-oriented supervision. He continued his academic career as a part-time research assistant in the Department of Psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University, where he also served as a teaching assistant for various courses.

Bahadır Yiğitoğlu contributed as a co-author to two chapters in the book “On the Scene of the Session: Process Notes from a Psychodynamic Approach,” edited by Dr. Alev Çavdar and published by Istanbul Bilgi University Press. Additionally, he co-translated Daniel Stern’s book “Forms of Vitality” into Turkish, also published by the same press.

Currently, he continues his work in Istanbul, providing individual psychotherapy to adults using a psychodynamic approach in a private clinic and offering consultancy services.
